TangoMusicProject.com, Conservatorium High School and Sydney Youth Orchestras present a  5 years of tango twilight concert directed by Maggie Ferguson on bandoneon and supported by the Argentine and Uruguayan Consulates.

Celebrate the 5th birthday of Australia’s only tango orchestra, SYOTangoOz and more than five years of tango education at the Con.

Hear Sydney’s elite young musicians play Argentine orchestral tango and the Tango Nuevo of Astor Piazzolla.

Witness their energy, precision and eclectic street fashion.. and the stunning dancing of guests Jairo Sanchez Rivera and Amy Teuchert of Tangueros

The second half will feature the largest tango orchestra ever assembled with past graduates of Con High and TangoOz combining as ConTangoOz for the concert grand finale.

Special guests will include Susanne James from New England Conservatorium of Music, the acting Consul General of Argentina, Sr. Pablo Hartstein and the Consul General of Uruguay Sr. Alvaro Barba
